This contract has a 3-year Initial Term (ending 6\/30\/2024), with the option for two additional 1 year renews.<\/p>\n

RFS PROCESS: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Capital Planning and Budget have contracted with six real estate consultants to perform market and\/or financial feasibility analysis for possible real estate development opportunities that may arise on institution campuses. These firms are available to consult on a variety of real estate assignments and were selected for their experience with higher education real estate. The consultants submitted qualifications in response to an RFQ in 2021, and were evaluated for their expertise with housing, athletics, mixed-use developments, and on cost.<\/p>\n

To gain access to the contracts, an institution must contact the Real Estate Portfolio Manager at UW System Capital Planning and Budget.\u00a0 The Portfolio Manager will work with the institution, and possibly a consultant, to develop a scope of work. Depending on the nature of the assignment, a number of consultants may be contacted. The institution has the option of interviewing a number of consultants. The consultant will issue a proposal for the assignment, and the institution will contract directly with the consultant.<\/p>\n

The Portfolio Manager remains engaged with the consultant and supports the institution through the entire process and is responsible for requesting approval by the Board of Regents and if necessary, the State Building Commission if the project moves forward.<\/p>\n
