In addition to UW System contracts, UW System Administration has formally contracted or entered into partnership agreements with other consortium organizations (referred to as \u201cPartnership Programs\u201d) to offer rates at government or negotiated rates that are within UW System Travel Policy rate limits for the location &amp; season of travel.\u00a0 These rates are exclusively offered in the managed booking channel, through Concur or with our <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.wisconsin.edu\/travel\/booking\/book-with-an-agent\/\">travel agency partners<\/a> and the properties with negotiated or consortium rates are required to be utilized when available in the location.<\/p>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_what-are-the-benefits\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_what-are-the-benefits\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#what-are-the-benefits\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"what-are-the-benefits\">What are the Benefits?<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"what-are-the-benefits\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_what-are-the-benefits\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <p><strong>What are the benefits?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Consolidating System-wide lodging spend with fewer hotels in top destinations leverages greater availability of government based rates, provides enhanced services and favorable terms and conditions, such as included amenities and later cancellation periods.<\/li><li>Utilizing Concur or one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.wisconsin.edu\/travel\/booking\/book-with-an-agent\/\">travel agency partners<\/a> as a means of making individual reservations affords the following:<ul><li>Efficiency in process for making air, car and hotel reservations in one process.<\/li><li>Provides users a single and consolidated source to shop lodging from contract and consortium properties, AAA and AARP membership hotels (when selected in the Concur profile) in addition to the daily published and promotional rates from\u00a0<em><strong>any<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0hotel selling inventory through the global distribution system for internet based reservations.<\/li><li>Affords ability to store hotel rewards member information and pass this with reservation data, allowing travelers to save department dollars by accruing complementary stays for business use.<\/li><li>Provides the ability to support travelers in the event of emergency or when travel doesn\u2019t go as planned.<\/li><li>Provides a platform for data collection between the UW System and contracted lodging properties to identify volume usage for continued contract rates and terms.<\/li><li>Protects UW rates from unauthorized use.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_how-were-contracted-or-partnership-properties-selected\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_how-were-contracted-or-partnership-properties-selected\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#how-were-contracted-or-partnership-properties-selected\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"how-were-contracted-or-partnership-properties-selected\">How were contracted or partnership properties selected?<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"how-were-contracted-or-partnership-properties-selected\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_how-were-contracted-or-partnership-properties-selected\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <p>UW System contract properties and partnership property program hotels were selected after responding with bid to the UW System Request for Proposal.\u00a0 Bids were evaluated by a committee and selection was based on meeting or exceeding the following requirements:<\/p><ul><li>Costs:\u00a0 Rates for standard sleeping rooms at state government, negotiated and\/or discounted rates that are within UW System Travel Policy rate limits for the location &amp; season of travel and included amenities that would have otherwise cost the UW additional travel dollars.<\/li><li>Accessibility:\u00a0 In addition to employees, rates and terms made available for non-employees, consultants\/contractor\u00a0 and enrolled students when traveling for UW purpose.<\/li><li>Quality:\u00a0 Industry rating of 2 stars or above.<\/li><li>Location:\u00a0 Proximity to primary business locations within Wisconsin, including UW campuses and for other domestic locations, city center, convention center, airport, higher education institution, government agencies etc..<\/li><li>Availability: With advanced reservations, consistent room availability at contract or partner program rates with limited blackout periods.<\/li><li>Policy:\u00a0 No prepayment requirements outside a one-night deposit for a multi-night stay and lenient cancellation terms with reduced or eliminated penalty fees for early\/late check-outs, etc..<\/li><\/ul><p><em>Financial data was used to determine most frequently utilized hotels, top travel destinations and locations.\u00a0 This information was also used to determine how many contract hotels to consolidate with in any given location.<\/em><\/p>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_what-hotels-are-under-contract-and-where-are-they-located\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_what-hotels-are-under-contract-and-where-are-they-located\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#what-hotels-are-under-contract-and-where-are-they-located\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"what-hotels-are-under-contract-and-where-are-they-located\">What hotels are under contract and where are they located?<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"what-hotels-are-under-contract-and-where-are-they-located\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_what-hotels-are-under-contract-and-where-are-they-located\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <p>A listing of UW contract properties is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.wisconsin.edu\/travel\/policies\/lodging\/uw-system-hotel-directory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UW System Hotel Directory<\/a>. Concur will alert users when over the UW established maximum for the location.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_how-do-i-pay-for-my-hotel-costs\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_how-do-i-pay-for-my-hotel-costs\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#how-do-i-pay-for-my-hotel-costs\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"how-do-i-pay-for-my-hotel-costs\">How do I pay for my hotel costs?<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"how-do-i-pay-for-my-hotel-costs\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_how-do-i-pay-for-my-hotel-costs\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <p>Payments must be made at check-out by the traveler using charge cards as required by the institution. Travelers are strongly encouraged to search Concur for their conference hotel(s) as often there are rates available that are less than the conference rate.\u00a0 For UW sponsored conferences and meetings the organizer will provide reservation instructions if a group block has been arranged.<\/p>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_what-about-international-lodging-needs\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_what-about-international-lodging-needs\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#what-about-international-lodging-needs\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"what-about-international-lodging-needs\">What about International Lodging Needs?<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"what-about-international-lodging-needs\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_what-about-international-lodging-needs\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <p>For individual reservations, both Concur and the UW agent team can be used for most international locations served by commercial hotels.
